Hi Gabriel,
I facilitated a quite similar session in January this year. LSP works nice on that one.
It was about a quite sognificant project wirh lits of struggles where all stakeholders (18) came together to share their view on the status quo establish a new goalsetzing for the end of the year, assess the impediments for moving forward and…[Read more]

Hi Gabriel,
In my humildy opinion, if you have two full days for the workshop, you would have time enough to go through Real Time Strategy for the Enterprise – as a concept. and playing to shape the tactics & strategies.
Ping me if you would like to have a short talk on this subject. +5493416087362
Have fun,

Hello Forum,
I’ll be facilitating a 2-day workshop in 3 weeks and I was wondering given my context if LSP could work. So here’s the context.
The group, composed of 16 participants from different business units, has been working together for many years, to address a specific market segment in their industry. Last year they’ve defined and aligned…[Read more]

Thanks Dieter, appreciated.
If anyone else has links to workshop resources for kids, involving LEGO as a tool/process, that would be useful too.
Thanks

Brilliant Johan! Thanks for reminding us of the deep and diverse theoretical roots of LSP.
Our time at the Imagination Lab in Lausanne was always memorable and remarkable — thank you for your patience with a simple American as we brought LSP into the world.
It is astonishing to me that LSP started as *strictly* a 3-day “Real Time Strategy” works…[Read more] -

Like @denisemeyerson Thank you Johan, this is a super read and has helped me understand so much more about the brilliant method you and Prof Bart created. As one of the many professional facilitators who use the method, my clients and workshop participants are grateful to have their stories heard. I believe it was Einstein who said “If At First t…[Read more]

This is a superb article. Thank you for the detailed explanations and the background. What a wonderful gift you have given to so many people – transformed lives and changed the way in which teams ‘play’ together.

Hi, someone on LinkedIn contacted me after seeing my blog, she’s interested in LEGO workshop ideas/resources for a rural community outreach program in Bangladesh for underprivileged children.
This isn’t my domain at all, so does anyone have contacts or resources I could point her to? As it’s about children, LSP may not be the most appropriate…[Read more]

Happy year and thank you very much for your always fast and good response Eli.
My main activity is the workshops and then complement them with coaching processes.

I think Jamie makes some good points. In my mind there is no doubt about the value of LSP as a method (and I intend to get fully certified as soon as time and budget allows), but if Dan Lyons’ statistics are right — 10,000 certified facilitators vs 100,000 participants, i.e. a ratio of 1:10 — then it would seem that the ROI for getting certified…[Read more]

Hi Irene, based on the Open Source license, you are licensed to facilitate or train even without being trained or certified yourself.
Technically, there is no official training curriculum or certification process. So if you wanted to create your own one, that would be completely OK as long as you respect LEGO’S Branding and trademark guidelines,…[Read more] -

Happy Christmas and New year to everyone.
It is permissible for us, being certified facilitators, to train other people (such as psychologists or coaches) to use the methodology for their sessions?
Does the open source enable that possibility?
Thank you.

Well said, Thierry. This guy is not mature enough to play seriously.
When we first started putting LEGO Serious Play into the market in 2001, it became clear that LSP was NOT for everybody in every organization.
Facilitating LSP workshops with 7500 people since 2001 proves out 100% of the time “you learn more about a person in an hour of play…[Read more] -
