Marcos Cedillo replied to the topic Activity suggestions for LSP Workshop for people that doesn't believe in method in the forum Serious Play Pro Forum 9 years, 11 months ago
Thanks Sebastian, I appreciate the time you guys took to reply. I have been hesitant to talk too much about LSP and its benefits and magic in a “real” workshop, as I rather want the participants to discover it by experience, but in this case I agree it is necessary because of the bad experience that had in the past.
thanks!

Hello All,
I have been requested to design a workshop to “discover” LSP and decide if it is something the company wants to start using or not.
I chose to ask for help and post this question to the community as there is a particular characteristic of some of the people that will take the workshop: they have had an experience before with LSP in a…[Read more] -

Dear Alexander
The short answer would be that the sets are costly but not expensive. The kits, in particular, the connections kit contain a lot of special elements that are expensive to produce. Historically, LEGO has kept the same margin on the LSP products as on any. In periods it has even been lower, but I believe that it has been adjust to…[Read more]

Does anyone know a list of global companies that are currently using or have used LSP?
Sometimes it is useful and inspirational for our clients to learn about real companies they know that have used LSP, most likely if they are Global and/or public companies. Some of the companies I have found out they have used LSP are for instance: Ericsson,…[Read more] -

Hello Everyone,
I am from Mexico and will have a business trip to Lima, Perú. in the next couple of weeks. I wonder if there is anyone in this community from Perú, I would like to connect and possibly take some time of my trip to meet and share lessons learned and experiences from our LSP workshops.

Sorry if I missed your call, I am doing a training in India, so am a bit unavailableYour questions can be answered from several perspectives: 1) From LEGO trademarks and 2) From the Assocation of Master Trainers
I will try to the real broad outline, and then would be more than happy to speak on the phone
Generally, what LEGO care about…[Read more]

Jon,
Little to add to the rich answers from Joyce and Marko, only want to share that I have found it important to keep the documentation as close to their language as possible, i.e. really use the metaphors and keep them alive. This helps carry the result into the workplace afterwards
Good luck

Hello Jon,
here my two cents on what works for me on my workshops.
– I keep separate the starter kits in order to supply one by participant on my next workshop. Eventhough I usually do that, I have had times when i decide to mix all of them and place them at the center of the table for self serve, that works too when you are short one or two kits…[Read more] -

hi Patrizia
Your question is far from stupid, however it may have two sides to it:Do you mean what defines something as LEGO SERIOUS PLAY – in that case we would often turn to the core process. If one does not adhere to the core process, then it is not LSP
Do you mean defining what it does or is, ie a method etc – in this case we often talk…[Read more]
