Hi Luis,
I have been workshops with close to this numbers.
In my humble opinion, there is no chance to get deep in it, but for sure good instances of learning and group sharing.I would start with a good amount of time for a warm-up, close to one hour. Then, getting two different concepts in an hour per concept exercise; probably based in what…[Read more]

Ziplock bags and resealable bags have been my best asset for porting and sorting the Lego kits. I’ve converted my starter kit boxes to resealable bags, and this has meant that I can add Kit labels, team labels, session names and details. Same for my collection of LSP ducks, and the LSP window exploration kits – small ziplocks and a handful of…[Read more]

Hi Elisabeth,
Actually we had the same issue but internally. As I introduced the methodology to our company Haufe we started out with a standard set. With more and more facilitators joining our internal LSP community we did the following set up of bricks as they need them for the workshops:
10 Starter Kits mixed together to form the basis for a…[Read more]

Hello everybody,
We are a couple of facilitators in the same area with the same question : how can we best manage our kits of bricks? Indeed, we were wondering if there were some best practices that some of you could share in order to have enough kits available when we need them, without each of us investing in so many kits. Have some of you…[Read more]

Thanks for the advice.
The group will be 50/50 partially sighted to sighted so it will definitely be a challenge. I will make sure that I give extra build time in my roadmap.

Thanks Rodrigo and Stephen
That’s really helpful. It’s definitely going to be a shorter rather than longer session. I have a horrible feeling that it’s going to be more Skype than Halo. Thanks for the ‘watch-outs’ too.
I’ll report back if it goes ahead.
Thanks again and best wishes

Hi Lindsay
I did it and it was a great human experience. You need to adapt the timing and material. I used standard packs at the beginning and you should leave to the blind participants enough time to memorise the content of the pack (they will probably sort all bricks)
It is also better to allow more time to build. When you come to the…[Read more] -

Hi LSP Community, I was wondering if anyone had ever run a LSP workshop for a team with partially sighted or blind participants. I have a group of 12 and half of those will have partial or no sight. I’m looking for some tips for skills building (I don’t think I can have them design based on a picture of a model) as well as anything I should…[Read more]

Hi there. I recently did run a three location LSP workshop using video conferencing. It’s a challenge, and it takes some background preparation (including, in my case, background mistake making), but it can be done. I had a split of 8 local, 3 in remote location 1, and 1 in remote location 2. From what I’ve heard, everyone felt they got…[Read more]

Hi Richard,
This is not a bizarre question at all!!! In fact, i have been asked previously for same similar situations……
In my humilde opinion, there is a slight way to get this done – but you will definitely loose the “in the flesh” instances and minor captions you could get when you conduct the workshop by person.
If you have a great…[Read more]
