Dear Francesca, we are running a similar service in The Netherlands, where kids with a challenge (usually something alike autism) sort and deliver kits. We could deliver in Germany, but also at the location in The Netherlands. Anything you like. Just like Christoph we lease out anything (starter / L&I / connections / baseplates) and we sell…[Read more]

Hi Francesca, I’m running a rental service for LSP materials (www.leansp.com) in the EU. We usually lend trolleys with the Identity and Landscape Kit as well as the Connections Kit. We sell Window Exploration Bags individually for skillsbuilding and we do have Starter Kits. I’m happy to help. Let’s get in touch. Christoph

Hi!
My name is Francesca and I am organizing a technology forum in the Netherlands on November, 12-13 and during a 1-1.5 h brainstorming session I would like to use 4-5 Starter Kits.
Unfortunately, they are sold out in Europe and cannot be shipped by US directly. Is there anyone who could lend me the 4-5 Kits?
If you have the possibility to…[Read more] -

Hi Karine, what types of interviews do yo have in mind. There are many examples of interviews using LEGO Serious Play methodology in our case study collection:
– Omar Bermudez used it for job interviews: http://seriousplaypro.com/2013/08/26/lego-serious-play-at-a-job-interview/
– also Marc Vandyck did the same:…[Read more] -

Quem acredita que o LEGO é um brinquedo destinado apenas às crianças está muito enganado. Consegui fazer uma simulação de uma Daily com Lego. Whoever believes that LEGO is a toy intended only for children is very much mistaken. I was able to do a Daily Lego simulation.

Hiya
I have a few models set up in Mecabricks – https://www.mecabricks.com/en/user/stephendann – for the Windows Kit, and some support materials designed to do instruction round based building – http://stephendann.org/lspevents/
That can get you a start

Hi
Is there any manuals online to build models from the Window Exploration kits? So participant can do “Build from the manual” activity during the Skill Building
Sometimes I have more participants than I have starter kits so I have to use the Window Exploration kits.
Bests

Thanks so much all! This has been super helpful. I’m raiding my old childhood collection to fill any crucial gaps.
Ed: I’m really just starting to push the boat out, so I’m trying to be a bit general-purpose about my bricks for now before purchasing some dedicated LSP gear and some kit to manage it. Good advice about the base plates – I’ll take…[Read more]

I’ve used a mix of creativity kits for story telling exercises – like the :Select six bricks, any six bricks, now build a model of the world’s best just using those bricks.
Kits I’ve got in my mix
* Creative Builder – Windows and Doors make for good insta-metaphors, and they’re loved by the participants.
* * Creative Supplement – this…[Read more] -

Joel- I am a newbie also. I just got back from Tanzania working in a school to help develop critical thinking skills using LEGO, literature, and logic games. I am not a LSP facilitator, but I used many of the concepts to organize and adapt the concepts for what I needed. I used a few of the 10698 general sets plus a few other other general build…[Read more]

Hi Joel – 10698 is a great starting point. There’s nothing ‘crucial’ at the start that would get in the way. I’d suggest you need a few wheels (and I seem to remember this has some), and some larger plates (bigger than 8×8). I think there are 12×4 and 8×6 in this box. I’d consider getting a few (1 per person) identical larger plates directly from…[Read more]
