Marko
thanks for your reply and thoughts. The key word here is approach.
In fact my client is not so much looking at the workshop to help develop a sector strategy per say, but to think of the best approach or framework or mechanism, under which one or more sector strategies can be developed.
This stems from the fact that many of my clients…[Read more]

Gabriel – that is very interesting assignment you have been invited to assist. It goes beyond the core application of LEGO SERIOUS PLAY in trying to take steps in determining particular strategic choices for the firm. Hence – I see two potential scenarios for you.
One possibility is to frame the approach by using the Business Model Canvas…[Read more]

Thank you Marko, Debbie, Patrizia, Sebastian and Christopher!!
all your comments were useful for me, let me tell you that the session last month went great!
They were 10 participants and half of them knew each other and the other half didn’t (even though they work in same company). I went through the classic warm up, and included in my workshop…[Read more] -

Has anyone used LSP to help in sector specialization strategy? It turns out that a client of mine, in the small business banking sector, is looking for support to go from being a sector agnostic bank to sector focused bank. For this they have asked me to facilitate a 4-hour workshop with LSP with the goal of determining the best approach to become…[Read more]

Hi there,
I was trained last year and still rather new to the facilitation and methodology. I was presented with a business opportunity recently with a local IT association that runs on annual membership subscription to various organisations.
The association is interested to promote the methodology to its members, with…[Read more]

Hi Yla..
Done this before.
A way to save time is to very quickly build a tower or bridge to get familiarity with Lego. As they are college students I would even skip this part and actually make the career model as the warm up exercise.
If you do do the bridge/tower then ask them to modify it to reflect their ideal career.
The second thing I do…[Read more] -

Luc – indeed, it looks like it has become much more expensive in the meantime. Probably worth considering the original Lego Serious Play Starter Kit instead. Thank you for bringing this to our attention!

@Balint – I understand you have in mind the LEGO Architecture Studio 21050 Playset: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KPPPCVM/?tag=seriousplay-20 ? Given that it consists of 1210 mostly generic bricks, plates and windows then looks like really an interesting idea how to combine it with Landscape and Identity kit to start constructing interesting landscapes.…[Read more]

Hi Juan,
I worked in the past with architects – both students and practitioners.
With one of them, we wrote an e-book on using LSP in co-housing – it’s free here http://b4bricks.org/media/handbook-for-co-housing/ sadly it’s in Italian, but maybe with Google translate you can read it easily.
If you have problems, please, let me know! What were…[Read more]
