    Hi Manuel.

Indeed, I have used pencil cup/letter dog exercise as a simple ice-breaker, but it is the most powerful in an instance where you have a relatively bureaucratic company looking for more flexibility. In those situations where the company past has fostered the truisms that the procedures, budgets and instructions are paramount. What I…[Read more]

In the last 4 years I have used LEGO® Serious Play (aka LSP) very often and the result has been extraordinary. However, due to the growing style of working remotely, I started to ask myself if I could use LEGO

    Hi there fellow facilitators,

I recently got my connections kit and sorted out the ten sets for the pencil cup challenge. I also translated the operating procedure for building the cup as stated in the facilitators document. However we just briefly got into is exercise in my training and I am trying to figure out how it really works, as there is…[Read more]

I was recently again pointed to one firm who offers LEGO SERIOUS PLAY workshops, but has not taken formal LEGO SERIOUS PLAY training with any of the senior trainers. So what to think about it?

It would be great to see a debate in this matter. Let me kick off by my own perspective.

I tend to have a democratic stance, based on personal experience.…[Read more]

    hi Hugues

I have done this a couple of times, and the most surprising thing is that you do not have to adapt, or at least extremely little. The key difference is in how visually impaired see things, as my sponsor said it “but we see, we just see with our hands”. Thus, give the listeners time to feel the model, before or while the builder is…[Read more]

    Hi there,

Finally my first 2 day RTS Workshop is at hand.

I have been asked by two process consultants to conduct a strategy LSP Workshop for their client.
The client is a 100 employee big family owned business in the automotive industry. There are 4 brothers who hold a share of 25% each and they have very differing views on the company and…[Read more]

Manuel Grassler replied to the topic Practical Concern: how to keep your sets organized in the forum Group logo of Serious Play ForumSerious Play Pro Forum 10 years, 11 months ago

One other thing to keep your sets organized would be to borrow them. There is one service in Berlin which lends the Kits presorted and you only have to send them back afterwards! This may help especially if you are going abroad and need your sets with you.

    The fees are quite reasonable.

What I did was using the Architecture Set for Service Desing.

Actually I build the environment for e.g. a service desk or a Point of Sale using the monochromatic bricks of the Architecture Studio Set. Then I put in the minifigures and certain intraction points in colored bricks.

With this set up it is easy to point to human/ customer…[Read more]

Thank you Manuel for your interest, and yes, I will continue doing things to try. After this first round, it could happen 2 things:
    1- A second round with 1-1 interview
2- A second round with group work (4/5 people)

Stay tuned, and jump as soon as you have time.
At the end, I will post the results and my thought here for sure.

    Thanks,
    Omar
