    Hi Julie,

You may like to consider using LSP to express the current process flow, then using coloured flags to represent LEAN waste as the team to identify the different areas of waste in the process they built. Use sub groups with SME’s to design out the waste at level 2 or 3 for the process.

Build the new process on a separate table to c…[Read more]

    Hello friends,

I have a LSP workshop in three weeks (needs to arrive in Canadian location by Monday May 22), and am desperately looking for 12 stater kits. They are backordered in Canada and US. So I was wondering if anyone has any they are willing to depart from. Please advise and we can take it off line for details.

    Thank you so kindly

    Hi Danny,

I think Francine’s ideas are great.

A few years ago I had to design and facilitate a worksop to help a tech startup better collaborate after being acquired by a tech giant. The CEO’s main concern at the time was seeing an increasing level of silo mentality. So the workshop focused on two main elements trust and collaboration in an agi…[Read more]

    Hola Alejandro,

Great initiative! Although I didn’t call it brand, I designed quite few workshops that focused on personal identity. I saw it more as a piece of a greater puzzle. What makes an organization, is a collection of teams, and what constitutes a team, is a collection of individuals. So designed a workshop I would offer to e…[Read more]

    Hey all,

    Thanks for your replies.
I totally agree with all of you. Clear objectives are key in that regard. Well I am not quite there yet as right now I just had a phone call with an event agency who want to present to the client the approach. So right now I personally believe that they want to work LSP as an experience factor and have no clue…[Read more]

    Hey there,

I have been asked to create a concept for a potential client.
Every year they host an internal strategy conference of 2 days with approx. 150 attendees from their global organization.

This year they want to use Day2 for several parallel Problem Solving Workshops using the LSP method.

Does anyone have experience with this kind of…[Read more]

Andy, my group was 10 people. I think that’s about an ideal size and if you have more, I’d split them into groups so that you don’t have to wait too long to hear all the stories.

Thanks for sharing Mark. This sounds like a fun and simple exercise. May I know what was the size of your group and if there is an ideal size? What inspired your friend to use pebbles for discussion?

    Hi Gabriel,

I facilitated a quite similar session in January this year. LSP works nice on that one.

It was about a quite sognificant project wirh lits of struggles where all stakeholders (18) came together to share their view on the status quo establish a new goalsetzing for the end of the year, assess the impediments for moving forward and…[Read more]

    Hello Forum,

I’ll be facilitating a 2-day workshop in 3 weeks and I was wondering given my context if LSP could work. So here’s the context.

The group, composed of 16 participants from different business units, has been working together for many years, to address a specific market segment in their industry. Last year they’ve defined and aligned…[Read more]

I’m assuming you already have behavioral indicators set for the competencies you want to measure. given that there is no “wrong answer” in LSP, the best LSP can do here is to try and elicit these behaviors in a group setting. From there, an independent observer/rater should be able to assess the level of the competency being measured. So LSP usage…[Read more]

Thank you Dieter. Please keep me posted if you do! I’m always amazed at what people can build and sometimes people use the bricks in a way that never occurred to me.
