Hello everyone,
I recently have completed the LSP certification and have connected with LSP professionals from all-over, many from here. One thing that has been a common theme is how to take LSP from standard ‘building towers’ and really use it in all the ways it can be used. Many have expressed interest in sharing common knowledge in developing…[Read more] -

I’ve done a couple with the theme “What would a supportive community for X look like?” It allows folks to consider the future direction the community that has come to the conference. At 2 hrs I have done a shared model. I’ve used explorer kits and asked folks to build the shared model in a way they can recover the kit. In one case I was able to…[Read more]

Dear All,
If any you have some time on your hands (that would be a fun metaphor to build), I would love to see your images of constructions that represent the concept of Uneducated Red-Neck Sexist Isolationism.
Personally, I thought of a house built only of white bricks surrounded by a multi-coloured wall built from all shapes and sizes of…[Read more]

I agree Ben, and thanks for the video link. I remember seeing that video. It’s true.. the conference can be tough, but im an expert of the topic of the conference (organizational change), so i’ll find a way to do both a ‘sell’ and ‘add value!’
thx again

I thought Dr Marko Rillo’s session at the Joomla World Conference was an excellent way to get people learning about LEGO Serious Play. A lot of the 2 hour session was about teaching the audience about play. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQncdPcvfKk
I like Eli’s idea of providing a fictional scenario. The issue with conferences is that you will…[Read more]

Hi Rob,
I think many of us on here have had your challenge. Naïvely, I used to think that I could use a facet of the conference’s theme while uniting the group through the one thing that links the participants, the conference itself. So in your case, I would in the past develop a 2-hour roadmap about how should the organising committee of the…[Read more]

Hi everyone! I’m just completing my LSP training as I type and I have the opportunity to do an LSP session for 2hrs at two difference conferences. Both focus on organizational change management. Where I have a bit of a gap is, how do I introduce the content to deliver value to the attendees that contribute to the discourse of the conference, where…[Read more]

Hi Sophie,
By the moment I don’t use music in workshops. But I’m tempted. I’m sure soon or later I will try that with some Henry Mancini’s songs for films. I think they have the potential to fit with the perfect mood required by some kind of questions. I found many pieces great to create a playfulness ambience: A Profound Gass, Baby Elephant…[Read more] -

Prof. Dr. Marko Rillo started the topic Imaginopedia for Skills Building in Different Languages in the forum Serious Play Pro Forum 8 years, 2 months ago
LEGO SERIOUS PLAY Starter Kit comes with a brochure called “Imaginopedia for Skills Building“, that supports the start of skills building and may be also used for other purposes during LSP process.
One community member just sent me a question – does anybody know whether this document is available in Spanish? Other languages?

Matevz, your welcome.
For other folks who might read this post the link is http://www.gargoylesoftware.com/lsp/facilitators and also contains a link to a PDF you can print to resort the Explorer kits.

I have a public Spotify playlist if you’re interested. https://open.spotify.com/user/123895693/playlist/5Gs4talVveRL1dZWWK1Fk1
It’s all instrumental, high energy, good beats. Have a listen. It may not be right for everyone but i like it.

Hi, thanks for your advices. I have just one more question for Guy:
What is Mike Bowler’s Moose? We didn’t use it during our training sessions. Can it be made by bricks from Teaser bags? Would you be so kind to share the instructions?
Is there any model with building instrucions that can be build from Teaser bags (for the Metaphors c…[Read more] -

Hi Sophie,
For the construction skill building I use “Trashin’ the Camp” by Phil Collins/’N Sync from the Tarzan soundtrack. It’s fun, energetic and short
For the individual metaphor build, I use Al Di Meola’s version of “Theme from the Mothership”. It’s reasonably fast-paced, while still remaining quite controlled and serene.
For a shortish…[Read more] - Load More
