Rodrigo Borgia replied to the topic Advice for designing a workshop to strengthen communication and collaboration in the forum Serious Play Pro Forum 5 years ago
Hi Mathias,
In this case, if i were in charge of designing the workshop, i would do the following.
1) 40 / 45 minutes warm up
2) 40 / 45: Where are we now? (and here you can customize the open question such as “How do i see communication and collaboration at….”)
3) 40 / 45: Where would we like to be in X time? (a year, 10 years?)
4) 40 / 45:…[Read more] -

Hi Gabriel,
In my humildy opinion, if you have two full days for the workshop, you would have time enough to go through Real Time Strategy for the Enterprise – as a concept. and playing to shape the tactics & strategies.
Ping me if you would like to have a short talk on this subject. +5493416087362

Jeff Tagle replied to the topic competency assessment using LSP in the forum Serious Play Pro Forum 5 years, 9 months ago
I’m assuming you already have behavioral indicators set for the competencies you want to measure. given that there is no “wrong answer” in LSP, the best LSP can do here is to try and elicit these behaviors in a group setting. From there, an independent observer/rater should be able to assess the level of the competency being measured. So LSP usage…[Read more]

Rodrigo Borgia replied to the topic Project in Innovation Management,? Would you be willing to answer some questions in the forum Serious Play Pro Forum 6 years, 5 months ago
Hi Enrique,
Feel free to send me the survey. I will be glad to collaborate.
As a first response to your question, i would say a 4. Play is a great resource to think out of the box, if the flow you create adjusts to the skilled required to be developed in order to think out of the box.
I wish to say 5, but there are multiple skills that, in some…[Read more]

Hi Jaime,
How much time in total do you have?
Have you thought that the warm-up in sort way can be considered as the beginning of a team building exercise? :)
Have fun,

Rodrigo Borgia replied to the topic Non-certified facilitators in the forum Serious Play Pro Forum 6 years, 7 months ago
Hello Irene,
From my standpoint, as happens with this methodology happens with any other.
It depends on the ability of the facilitator to deliver a great workshop or a bad experience.
And of course, a good community support to enhance practices, knowledge and examples. So, that said, there are other activities from Lego Education (such as Six…[Read more]

Rodrigo Borgia replied to the topic Duck Workshop in the forum Serious Play Pro Forum 6 years, 9 months ago
Yep!
First step: asking part of the audience to create a duck, draw it and the pass the draw to the one in the left. And the other part of the audience, to NOT create the duck, just imagine it, list the steps to create the duck and pass to the left.
On the second step, each one builds the duck based on the instructions received.
On last, close…[Read more]

Hi Manon,
This is a great challenge, indeed!
I have been doing big groups workshops. My suggestions would be to focus just in two concepts:
1) Warm-up for about 40 minutes.
2) The topic you would like this group to discuss.
And instead of having strong facilitators collaboration (would be the best, but as you mention is a little expensive for…[Read more] -

Hi Luis,
I have been workshops with close to this numbers.
In my humble opinion, there is no chance to get deep in it, but for sure good instances of learning and group sharing.I would start with a good amount of time for a warm-up, close to one hour. Then, getting two different concepts in an hour per concept exercise; probably based in what…[Read more]
