A Potential Breach in LSP Core Values???
As a follow-on from the conversation with Gabriel, I thought I’d trawl the net for any reference to Swisscom and LSP. Apart from our own CAPRESE web site, and the Xing profile of our main client representative, I also saw a link to a page in German:…[Read more]

Hello all, I am working my way to secure a large Telecom service provider. I saw in various presentations that Swisscom actually used LSP. Can anyone tell me for what application exactly and if at all possible which division of Swisscom?
Thank you-
Hi Gabriel,
Swisscom used LSP in a strategic programme to move from technology driven product development to human centric customer experience design.
Orange Communications used LSP for strategy and branding in the very early days of research through The Imagination Lab.
I also believe that some work was done with British Telecom around 2009,…[Read more]

Eli,
thank you very much, this is very helpful. It turns out that the Canadian company I am referring to will be speaking to Swisscom on another matter and just might bring up the topic of LSP.
Thx again
Gabriel-
The department in question is Swisscom Residential Brand Experience. However, I believe the leadership team from that time has now moved on.

Great, thx Eli

-
BTW where did you see a presentation about Swisscom and LSP? I’m not aware of anything on seriousplaypro
-
A presentation on LSP had a slide with a list of companies that used the method… Swisscom figured as one of them.
-
But you don’t remember where you saw this presentation? I’m just curious. Obviously, if it was the CAPRESE web site, that would make sense – I’m more interested if other people / organisations refer to it. It enhances one’s credibility if third parties reference one’s work.
-
Eli, the presentation is in the knowledge base that we have access to, and it’s entitled LSP_Case_Example.pdf
-
I’m curious. Where do you access this knowledge base? I’m supposed to be a moderator of this site and I wasn’t aware that there was a knowledge base of PDFs
-
I suppose that this is one of the presentations prepared by Robert some years ago. Available e.g. here: http://www.flandersinshape.be/frontend/files/userfiles/files/LSP_Case_Example.pdf
-
yes it is… that’s the one!

Hi,
I am doing a workshop for 80 people next week. They would like to do use LSP as a closer for an international conference as a fun but still productive activity.
I have previously done large workshops upto 200 people but the LSP part tends to be as an activity that is added to further explore or amplify a topic already under discussion.

I’m not 100% certain it’s resolved, but I simply put this receipt into my tax deduction forms and tried it. I’ll know in a year from now whether it was accepted ;-)
I think it should be ok, it looks a lot like a Dutch invoice, has the right VAT % etc. Should be fine…
Thanks

Martin – did you manage to clarify the VAT issue? I believe that inside EU you should be able to import/export according to uniform rules whereby the tax is calculated based on the rules of the target country: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_Union_value_added_tax#Intra-Community_acquisition
However, LEGO may have its branches in many…[Read more]

Thanks Per. This really helps. So as far as i understand to become a trainer depends on your collaboration with the community. For now there is no a formal process to become a trainer really?.
Thanks in advance for your help. I have a lot to read and practice. I hope soon ill be sharing how it goes

Hello Patrizia,
I am quite new at LSP… but since I obtained my LSP Facilitator certification and started to promote it to potential clients, I observed that those who had an interest began to search the Internet for information on it. And this is where I believe we can probably do a better job: selling the merits of a certified LSP facilitator…[Read more]

Something odd is happening to me… I keep meeting people who runs LSP workshops.

I understand that the method is powerful and there…[Read more]-

Hello everyone, I am about to give my first ever LSP workshop next week and had a question: anyone know if LSP was used in the financial sector (banking or other)? My client is a state-owned development bank and I am sure they would be thrilled to know if that were the case!
Thanks

Patrizia and Per,
Thanks to both of you for a great discussion. It might be indeed a good idea to gather in September and even spend some time on definition building. However, if we are unable to define the LSP for our purpose more precisely then I would say that there is nothing wrong with that either. If we are not too strict in our expression…[Read more]

Hi Mark,
sorry for the late reply!
I would make a distinction between LSP core and its derivative applications. Legoviews (which I have been doing in several context different from the initial experiments in Palestine) in NOT LSP, it’s a derivation as it lacks many elements of a workshop.Perhaps we don’t need a definition, but perhaps defining…[Read more]

Ah, 1 question sort of answered. I just received an invoice from Lego Denmark. The strange thing is that the invoice is in Dutch, with the Dutch VAT percentage (21%, DK apparently has 25%) and the bank that is listed is a Dutch bank.
Getting more and more confused :-)

After receiving my certification from Per, I am now every excited to get started on my first workshop. I ordered 10 starter kits and a box of exploration kits from the Lego online store. It has been shipped, so happy about that.

Well, the moment you ways it’s a process, you define it, yet it’s vague.
