Serious Play Pro Forum 11 years, 1 month agoHello everyone!
Was done with the demo before I got back to the thread, but I appreciate the feedback Massimo, Gabriel, and Hector! I’d like to share what happened:
1) As mentioned, I ended up exercise no. 3. fortunately, they got the hang of building and getting into the flow fairly quickly, even for those who were intimidated with the bricks…[Read more]

Serious Play Pro Forum 11 years, 1 month agoDear Jeff,
I also agree with Massimo and Gabriel that your design sounds to ambitious for two hours. My comment might arrive too late as I undertand your workshop is sometime today. However, in my experience when you budget the time you need to keep in mind that the sharing usually takes anywhere from 1 to 3 minutes per participant. If you have…[Read more]

Serious Play Pro Forum 11 years, 1 month agoHello Jeff,
I support 100% Massimo’s suggestions as in my last workshop I made the mistake of underestimating the time it takes for just the skills building. Remember that the time you allocate is a factor of the # of exercises, the time you give them to build, the time you give them to share, the time for reflection, and of course the # of…[Read more]

That way they are still doing skill building but they are also sharing their own personal…[Read more] -

Serious Play Pro Forum 11 years, 1 month agoHello everyone!
I am going to demo LSP to my team tomorrow in hopes of getting accredited in the near future. I was given 2 hours to do it and I was wondering if it would be enough to:
A) Warm them Up and acclimatize them into brick building
B) Get them into the Flow
C) Be able to use metaphors instead of trying to be “literal” in their…[Read more] -

Serious Play Pro Forum 11 years, 1 month agoThis post isn’t new anymore, but I’d been experiencing the exact same problem a while ago. Without a perfect solution at hand, I thought I take the helm and offer my LSP sets for rent when I don’t need them. I will make sure they are clean and complete and I ship them within Germany (or pick-up in Berlin). What do you guys think about this ide…[Read more]

Serious Play Pro Forum 11 years, 1 month agoI’d like to know if anyone in the community has had the opportunity to use LSP on a personal level or for couples work. The context is the following: my wife is a Life Coach who helps individuals as well as couples with their personal lives. Seeing the potential of LSP as a great problem solving and communication tool, my wife thought immediately…[Read more]

Serious Play Pro Forum 11 years, 1 month agoHello everyone,
I would like to share with you this 4 min. video of a set of workshops I had few weeks ago.
It was a great experience though a little heavy as we held 2 workshops a day with only a short lunch break.
My client is a Private University and the participants were all administrative people working in it.
I hope you enjoy, thanks for watching. -

Serious Play Pro Forum 11 years, 1 month agoI think that skills building is an absolute must but from what I have learned, the time allocated for it depends highly on the number of participants and the type of participants, as well as, as Marko stated, the session design. I also think that as I build experience, I will become better at time management.
Marko I like your suggestion about…[Read more]

Instructions 2 minutes, building 10 minutes, explaining 10 minutes, debrief 2 minutes +…[Read more] -

Thanks you so much for your valuable input!
I’ve facilitated my first 1-day LSP workshop yesterday for the commercial team of an Embassy in Brussels. The goal was to streghten the team, help ‘m to deal with changes and ‘rejuvenate’. I took almost 90′ for intro & skills building, used the Team Life scenario as a base and ended with a…[Read more] - Load More
