    Hey Rob,

As it is a relatively short session, for these types of proposals I try to keep them relatively short.

    Here is the basic format I’ve been using;
    – Background: Who is the team/organization you are supporting? What is the challenge they are currently facing? (Couple sentences) How can the LSP method address this challenge? (Short…[Read more]

    Hi there,
When you’ve been contacted to put an LSP session together, you only have so much detail. I’m putting a proposal together for a client who wants a relatively short session (under 3 hours) for under 25 folks. I’m assuming the roadmap would come secondary. The proposal will be based on outcomes, but I do know their top 3 priorities, ..…[Read more]

An option, if they’re asking for a short exercise with a common outcome.

Depending on what the scope of the exercise (and the venue), you could pull together a Lego exercise using the Duck Kit (6 bricks x 300 people).

You’ll be best friends with the Lego Pick a Brick feature, and I’d suggest that what you want to do is select a wide range of…[Read more]

    Hi Barbara,

I hope you will get some response from some facilitators near you. Three hundred people is a lot to handle. The theme is perfectly in line with what LSP is good for. However, if your client wants to display the structure in their premises, they may need the help of a LEGO Master Builder to recreate what the staff produce.

    The way I…[Read more]

I need to facilitate a corporate team building event for 300 pax and the theme is “Building Tomorrow, Today’, the key messages being ‘building our future together’.

    Hi Eli,

that was indeed the document I did send. Although not an exact match to the question, it is certainly useful for inspiration.

@scharlau I wasn’t able to find the link that fast so decided to mail the document. Could not find a way to post the PDF in the forum.

    Greetings

    Emiel

I have used LSP for software architecture development as well as for some related IT problems.

What works well is to use LSP for building risks, non-functional-requirement-drivers (architecture goals), users (end-users and architecture-users) as well as metaphors for core principles and building-blocks of the architecture. All of these can be…[Read more]

    Hi Ariel,
I imagine that the PDF that Emiel is sending you is the document produced by Elisabetta Frick and Lorenzo Cantoni at the Università della Svizzera Italiana. I read the text a few years back and I would say that it could be useful for someone who had not been fully trained as an LSP facilitator and was rather working as a business…[Read more]

    Hello,

I am facing an LSP process for a change process with the leadership team of a military like organization where there is a strong command chain. The target is to surface the team’s thoughts and feelings and “how to do it right” about this change which naturally is dictated as “given”.

I’m planing on combining LSP with a Change Canvas to…[Read more]

    Hello Emiel,

I somehow missed your reply. Sorry for this.

thanks for your answer. I’d love to get that document. I’m not sure it is exactly the same but any insight on doing LSP in the software engineering context would be helpful.

    Thank you,

Hello, nice topic but 23participants for a workshop of 2,5 hrs and this programme is ambitiuous. I would go for a shared model with 10 big principles of the identity for the target group. You have then a result that has a sense and output supported by all participants. Good luck.
