Serious Play Fans: 15 years, 7 months agoHi,
no, there are no legal restrictions in terms doing this as a facilitator. However, when you buy the physical products you will find no real support in terms moving it from just using LEGO bricks to actually doing LEGO SERIOUS PLAY with its particular characteristics

Serious Play Fans: 15 years, 7 months agoHi,
I am interested in the LSP methodology and keen to act as a facilitator. However, I am not ready to go through the complete training yet. Can I ask with the “open source” now, is there any legal implication if I, an uncertified Facilitator, conduct such a workshop using this method?
Thank you.

Serious Play Fans: 15 years, 7 months agoHello: I have participated in and facilitated LSP sessions with over 4,000 people since 2000, when I was introduced to it by its co-creator, Bart Victor. An internet-company incubator I co-founded was a beta-test for Real-Time Strategy, as it was moving from research project to product. When the incubator burst with the rest of the

Serious Play Fans: 15 years, 8 months agoHi,
I think that Eli is spot on! This is one of the long standing challenges in the community, often the best sharing has been at the annual learning days, simply because then it happened by “the water cooler”, things emerged, sometimes the form of what eventually would become an official case. -

Serious Play Fans: 15 years, 8 months agoEli, Thanks so much for your reply. Obviously no one would want to breach any confidentiality, and that was certainly not what I had in mind. Nor was I suggesting case studies be on the level of post-event evaluations. In my naivety I hoped that those already doing LSP might share with those desiring to

Serious Play Fans: 15 years, 8 months agoHi Karen, the experience, case studies, case histories that you are asking for have been suggested as one of the key reasons for having a community such as this one. You are not alone :-) However, as you have already gathered, few of the partners communicate their experience openly on the web site. I cannot

Serious Play Fans: 15 years, 8 months agoYes, results gained with clients. I’ve studied many of the facilitator’s websites and see the impact LSP has had with their businesses. What I’d like to see is more sharing among the facilitators of outcomes, successes, results. I read the two that are posted and they are very good. I’m encouraging other facilitators to share

Serious Play Fans: 15 years, 8 months agoKaren,
What kind of case studies are you thinking about? In relation to direct client engagements (ie using LSP to solve a client problem) or in relation to the training of facilitators? I suspect it is the first one -

Serious Play Fans: 15 years, 8 months agoI’d sure like to see more case studies from some of the professional facilitators. These will help other understand LSP and help us make the case for attending training.

Serious Play Fans: 15 years, 8 months agoAnother possibility for now or in the future: I have designed and delivered online professional development courses, after completing a Masters of Continuing Education degree in a largely online environment. I’d be delighted to work with anyone who is interested to design an online facilitation training program using the LSP methodology. I’ve been…[Read more]

Serious Play Fans: 15 years, 8 months agoSo far little, but it is early days. I think that only a few consultancies outside the community have realised that it has happened, and for the clients at this stage it matters little. The element of “premium” or “exclusivity” is still there.

Serious Play Fans: 15 years, 8 months agoHi Sébastien To my knowledge no-one offers this as on-line training. The whole method is very hands on, in a literal sense, so it seems natural to do the training on-site rather than on-line One option that you could explore is to gather a group (up to 10 people) and then explore having a training
