Serious Play Pro Forum 10 years, 11 months agoGuys – in my business LSP is just a means to achieving an objective. The objective is for people to talk honestly and creatively and feel engaged in that discussion.
The objective is NOT to be become LEGO Master Builders! I get frustrated when participants place a few bricks and a couple of animals on the table, but if they then use that as the…[Read more]

Serious Play Pro Forum 10 years, 11 months ago@Gabriel – as a follow-up to Eli’s comment – there are 4 other facilitators in our community who are from your neighborhood in Quebec or Montreal: http://seriousplaypro.com/members/?s=Montreal – perhaps it is indeed worth getting in touch with them?

Serious Play Pro Forum 10 years, 11 months agoHi Gabriel,
I would suggest running a full two-day workshop with two facilitators. Why waste your customer’s time with a facilitator’s assistant?Use a colleague from this fantastically rich network of professionals. Part of your added value is that you are a member of the Serious Play Pro Community. Your client should value this and pay for…[Read more]

Serious Play Pro Forum 10 years, 11 months agoThe best you can do at this stage is some meticulous planning. Start from the very first minutes and write down all steps that you are planning:
– Introduction to the day by company representative (15-20 minutes)
– Introduction by you to LSP methodology, rules etc (10-15 min)
– Warm up skills building exercises (20-25 min)
– First individual…[Read more] -

Serious Play Pro Forum 10 years, 11 months agoDieter,
I believe that longer sessions happen quite frequently. In SeriousPlayPro community survey https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/seriousplaypro we had a question: “What types of workshops do you deliver with LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®?” One of the answer options was very similar: “Continuous sessions with the same client over a long period”. The main concern that I would have – is the time enough for this type of discussion given lots of diverging thoughts about the sector directions among the…[Read more]

One possibility is to frame the approach by using the Business Model Canvas…[Read more]

I’m sure you could use the methodology for exploring the qualities or attributes required for a new umbrella or discussing the principles that an umbrella should respect: is tensile strength more important than impermeability or ultraviolet protection?

How do they use them?
When do they use them?

I think you’ll find a few cases of research in the social sciences (e.g. the work done by David Gauntlett, Lorenzo Cantoni, etc.)I can’t really see how it would work in the natural sciences, because it requires people.
