Safak,
I had this happen once. The person had a basic, unmoveable, prosthetic hand, which I only realised after I had distributed the fiddle packs. I asked him if he wanted help, with me guiding him, or something. He said no, he’d manage on his own with one working hand, and the prosthetic to hold things in place.
So, my suggestion is this: ask…[Read more]

Omar,
assuming/hoping the timezone works ok for me, then I’m in. I’d like to try this out too. Thanks for proposing the idea.

Ali,
there is an LSP training session in Hamburg in a few weeks time if that helps. https://www.eventbrite.de/e/strategicplay-fundamentals-on-lego-serious-play-april-2015-facilitator-training-registrierung-15648535190
I trained with Katrin, and can highly recommend her as an LSP trainer and facilitator.

I agree with what Marko has said and would only add two comments:
First, the firm probably doesn’t appreciate how useful LSP can be, and that is why they only gave you 4 hours.
Second, as they don’the know how useful this will be make sure they go away with ‘actions’ to implement and a subtle note of how you would take this further…[Read more]

I’ve done similar short sessions with students. Given universities are international places, and that there is ALWAYS someone who’s not used Lego before, I strongly urge you to not skip the bridge building exercise. This also provides the transition period between when they are coming from whatever they did before to settle down to the serious…[Read more]

Eli,
James asked for recommendations. I offered some recommendations of people I know, who are both trained LSP facilitators, and agile practitioners. I leave it up to James to determine if the people are a fit for his purposes. As he’s not said what the event is ands what precisely he’s looking for, then I trust that he can ask these people for…[Read more]

James,
if you want more direct connection with agile and LSP then these people are trained in both, and are people I know in the agile community.
Olaf Lewitz
Steven Holyer
Jens Hoffmann Jens is also half of the StrategicPlay team in Hamburg.
All of them can do what you need and work in the agile field on a daily basis and also speak and run…[Read more] -

James,
I can help you out. I’m a trained LSP facilitator, who uses this and other games with my students for teaching software development, and also in my clients in my consulting work. While I’ve not worked as a coach of a team, I am familiar with what they do from conversations and collaborating with them at agile coach camps and the ALE…[Read more]

Just tried ordering Identity and Landscape kit and was told that they are backordered until September 2013 :( Fingers crossed this comes sooner than that.
