Serious Play Pro Forum 11 years, 1 month agoLuc, I find terms like C-level quite confusing; still here’s a list of CAPRESE LSP references, where senior management have been involved (I’ll leave it to you to decide whether VP R&D EMEA in Honeywell ACS who reports to an Executive VP is senior or junior to VP R&D Aerolia who reports directly to a…[Read more]

Serious Play Pro Forum 11 years, 1 month agoI cold heartedly agree with Eli, don’t “fall into the numbers trap”. The way I work around this is by bringing up all the workshops I have conducted in the past, with or without LSP. LSP is a tool, and a great one… but the secret is the facilitator. Also depending on the type of clients you are dealing with, I learned so far that some will catch…[Read more]

Serious Play Pro Forum 11 years, 1 month agoGuys don’t fall into the numbers trap! What about keeping the company in business, rather than going bankrupt? What about creating a context in which products are developed more efficiently? Having a more efficient R & D department might not affect your bottom line in the short term, but may help your organisation to develop products and services…[Read more]

Serious Play Pro Forum 11 years, 2 months agoDear Wiro,
We do a regular business modelling session at the Ecole Polytechnique Federal de Lausanne (EPFL). The best reference for this is probably the one written by Yves Pigneur (http://www2.hec.unil.ch/wpmu/ypigneur/2012/04/01/lego-serious-play/)We also do a Corporate Identity session for students at Università della Svizzera Italiana (USI)…[Read more]

Wiro Kuipers started the topic Cases on LSP for research and education? in the forum
Serious Play Pro Forum 11 years, 2 months agoHi all,
I recall there are several examples of cases where LSP was used for research and/or education purposes. I got a question from someone in higher education, which I have to answer tomorrow. Can someone here please refresh my mind by mentioning (or pointing me to) those cases?
Thanks in advance, and regards, Wiro

Serious Play Pro Forum 11 years, 2 months agoHi Greet,
I concur with everything said previously, use smaller groups at separate tables, but all in the same room. Have table groups present their shared models to each other. Use World Café method or at least the mixing and hosting elements to develop a more generalised perception and understanding throughout the group. The one thing I would…[Read more]

Wiro Kuipers replied to the topic LSP workshop with 19 participants in the forum
Serious Play Pro Forum 11 years, 2 months agoJust to go short: you could work in two to four smaller groups and try to focus on your role as a facilitator solely. That would mean you won’t be able to listen to every story being told, nor that you can intervene immediately. If that’s not what you want: arrange an extra facilitator. I wouldn’t try to put 19 people together on one table, if I…[Read more]
