hi Carlos
As I (we) dont have a space of our own, our situation is a little different. However, yes the materials are a separate line in the proposal. On occasions I leave up to the client to decide afterwards if they want to purchase the model/bricks. I always ask the client to buy some sort of kit for the opening (skills building) -

hi Carlos
Great to hear that you are considering using LSP, and a good + important question you are raising.
I would venture that there are several answers:
1. There is always a particular strength when the client keeps the bricks, but if you are running a learning space to which they are coming for the experience, then that may be less important,…[Read more] -

hi Luis
Welcome
The open source is good place to start, as is the “official” seriousplay.com web, but you probably have already had a good look at that. You might also look for some of the old papers from the Imagination Lab. These are academic papers based on data gathered through LEGO SERIOUS PLAY workshops. Whilst not exactly practical, they…[Read more]

hi Marko
I have done it once (in Poland). It broke the flow a little bit, but not much, expect it to take a little longer but not much (if the translator is good). I becomes even more important that the storyteller points to his/her model in the storytelling.
Happy to expand on this in a call if you feel like it

Recently finished this book, and even if it strictly speaking is not about LSP, I wanted to briefly mention it to the community. Dave Gray is a big fan of LSP and has co-written a nice book outlining a whole range of games that can be used in ideation and decision-making. In short, they argue that

@ Dario You are absolutely right in you understanding of the “we will meet again”, but there is one more element, and that is that we also treat each other in that way. ie when interacting with some one in the community, we behave in that spirit (spero che tutto vada bene a Milano) @

hi,
Denise’s suggestion looks good as well. My input at this stage would be to consider1) How far do you want to take your client in this opening session (ie the balance between developing the solution and introducing LSP as the way to the solution)
2) What “level” do you want to work on: a) Individuals/persons, eg learning about “my self” in…[Read more]

Agree that a half day session may be a bit short, but if what you/Pete are/is looking for is establishing LSP as the method to apply in the change process, then it could work. Ie focus is on introducing LSP as part of the solution, rather than developing the solution per se. One could then go for skills building and then working on some sort of…[Read more]
