Greetings Massimo (et al),
I am working on a 2.5 hour LSP session for my org and saw in a thread you had a script that might offer some wisdom. If you are willing to share I would appreciate learning from you how you handled LSP in such a tight window of time
Many thanks!
Mark

It it is in our best interests to seek out an align ourselves with facilitators in our regions that have disabilities. There is an under tapped group of experts that would be able to weigh-in on making inclusive sessions for everyone. Perhaps we would all discover alternative building options and strategies for our clients by listening to LSP…[Read more]

I’m having trouble grasping the extend of the trademark guidelines, especially the phrase “The photo material can include training sessions with
the use of LEGO bricks and elements but without detailed focus on the LEGO products.”.Does this mean close-ups like this (not my picture) are allowed because its a depiction of a workshop result or is…[Read more]

Hi Rob,
I’ve used the Build to Express Kits. They’re great. In some respects they’re better than the starter kits. They have more of the little pieces like tools and a big base plate. But they don’t have the big duplo blocks that the starter kit does.
Overall they are a fine substitute when the starter kits aren’t available.
Cheers

Hello Ariel,
I didn’t use connections or SGP in my workshop as time didn’t allow me, but I think it would be definitely a great idea to build the connections, agents and play scenarios to get the SGP. For this case, consider at least a 2-day-workshop.Happy building!

Hi Ariel I have used a similar approach though applied to processes in banks.
I used a LEAN and TRIZ Creativity Matrix Canvas for each group to:
1 Identify the current process chain and process components in the system to be improved.
2. Identify Process Waste, Redundancy, Inefficiency using LEAN 8 Waste Matrix
3. Using TRIZ, identify process…[Read more] -

Hello Pablo,
Thank you very much for the timely and detailed answer.
In the “shared model” do you also use connections (like we use in the higher level apps) between component so we could play scenarios ?
Also, do you use simple guiding principles ?
Thank you,
Ariel

Hello Ariel,
This is an answer to your 2nd question. Only if the other methods are for ice-breaking, reactivating or relaxing after hours working, thinking, building, sharing, etc., then I might recommend it. Be careful not to take the group out of flow!
To your first question…
For an industrial process, you will have probably a mixture of…[Read more]

Greetings,
I am planning a workshop which will include LSP (hybridized with creative thinking techniques) for improving an industrial process – the way a specific team works within a specific station in the construction line. A classic LSP opportunity, the participants include line workers, managers, engineers etc.
If anyone has experience in…[Read more]

Hi Phek,
Mathematically it should be in the 10s or hundreds of thousands of combinations or permutations or possibly even more..
In reality in my experience if I ask 50 people to build ducks.. about 3 to 4 would be similar though not exactly so.However all 50 are building a duck according to how their hands and minds sees a duck.
If you…[Read more]
