Here is a bit from their website:

This short film and the project behinds works on bringing play back into the world. Hard to disagree with that.
It is a 12 minutes film, and it is 12 minutes well spent. Enjoy Seriously! The Future Depends on Play

hi Alan
I am afraid it is not ready be early Feb! The Foundation has secured a production slot in Feb, but the products are not ready for sale until March. It is rather frustrating, but Jette is working hard on this. Are you coming to Billund in April??? -

hi Bob
Absolutely. The kits will be produced in February – so far so good. The other challenge is that the Foundation will have to set up a sales and distribution channel, but it should all be sorted by Late Feb/early March -

In terms of updating the current kit, our focus has simply been on substituting the elements that are being phased out of the LEGO portfolio and finding new with similar functionality. In addition, we had the opportunity to add a new bag with some interesting elements. Finally, the aim was also to keep the price

Thanks for sharing Robert. I would even go as far as to say not only is the why-circly relevant to our selling, it is also what we are asking into in the identity framing of our Real Time Strategy workshops

This video interview is strictly speaking not about play, but about games, learning and systems thinking. Nevertheless, I found it an interesting way to spend ca 7 min of my time. Katie Salen is from the Institute of Play

hi Per,
it is indeed a great book (and I believe a book that also Marko has recommend on this site). Personally, I have also quoted in a couple of articles and blogs. I really like his notion about how it helps “prepare” us for ambiguity -

Here is an interesting attempt to define play In short the author defines it as “the recognised, negotiated, process of a purposeful shift in the dominant meaning; and contextual attribution of value, of

On a different but related note: Does any one have any Window/exploration bags to spare? I have an upcoming workshop where I would love to do skills building with the bag, but I dont have enough. I can either buy the outright or simply ship new ones to you once they are back in production

Per – are there still none of the old fiddle bags available?? We are running out of stock so I had best start keeping an eye on this. I thought they had stock for 3 years? Are they not making them any longer? I thought they were popular? Hope all well with you, Regards
Denise
hi Denise
There are, or should be, fiddle bags (exploration bags), at least in Europe. From what I know, the local distribution centers sometimes run out, and then mistakenly the consumer service (ie the call center where we order) reports that they are sold out. All is well here. The spring was great, lost of business (playfull business that is).…[Read more]
