Gabriel replied to the topic LSP Workshop Tips needed in the forum
Serious Play Pro Forum 10 years, 12 months agoHi Manuel,
This looks like a great plan. My experience has shown me that just the individual to shared model takes at least 90 min (for individual = 5-8 min build + 3-5 min to share x 10 + 5-8 min reflection = approx 70 min; for shared model = at least 20 min team negotiation + 3 min x 5-6 sharing = approx 40 min). The same for the Landscape of…[Read more]

Serious Play Pro Forum 11 years agoHi Marko,
for a smaller set than the Landscape and Connections kits, I use an “Art Bin”. It is a compartmentalized suitcase and it works well for me given that it helps organize the bricks by type if you wish and they don’t get mixed. Could work well for travelling since it’s easy small enough to take as a carry-on and easy to go through security…[Read more]

Serious Play Pro Forum 11 years agoSean – thanks for the ideas! Would be great to see a photo of your approach indeed – perhaps it might be an interesting front page post of the community to also provide some useful ideas for the others?
To “compartmentalise” the bricks I have so far used this solution by Rubbermaid: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00006IA5D/?tag=seriousplay-20

Serious Play Pro Forum 11 years agoI have a question about your experience in flying with LEGO SERIOUS PLAY Identity & Landscape and Connections Kit. Together they measure as two boxes of 58x16x49cm, which means that there is altogether 91 liters of LEGO bricks weighing over 18 kg for the luggage.
Does anybody have any experience to share in fitting them in one of the large…[Read more]

Gabriel replied to the topic Flow + Metaphor in 2 hours? in the forum
Serious Play Pro Forum 11 years agoHello Jeff,
I support 100% Massimo’s suggestions as in my last workshop I made the mistake of underestimating the time it takes for just the skills building. Remember that the time you allocate is a factor of the # of exercises, the time you give them to build, the time you give them to share, the time for reflection, and of course the # of…[Read more]

Gabriel started the topic LSP for personal/couples work? in the forum
Serious Play Pro Forum 11 years agoI’d like to know if anyone in the community has had the opportunity to use LSP on a personal level or for couples work. The context is the following: my wife is a Life Coach who helps individuals as well as couples with their personal lives. Seeing the potential of LSP as a great problem solving and communication tool, my wife thought immediately…[Read more]

Gabriel replied to the topic Lessons Learned in the forum
Serious Play Pro Forum 11 years, 1 month agoI think that skills building is an absolute must but from what I have learned, the time allocated for it depends highly on the number of participants and the type of participants, as well as, as Marko stated, the session design. I also think that as I build experience, I will become better at time management.
Marko I like your suggestion about…[Read more]
