do you think I shall be able to buy one in February? Some friends from Colombia wanted to buy it for a workshop I gave their, and they were informed that LEGO had stopped producing it.

In terms of updating the current kit, our focus has simply been on substituting the elements that are being phased out of the LEGO portfolio and finding new with similar functionality. it is indeed a great book (and I believe a book that also Marko has recommend on this site). Personally, I have also quoted in a couple of articles and blogs. I really like his notion about how it helps “prepare” us for ambiguity -

There are, or should be, fiddle bags (exploration bags), at least in Europe. From what I know, the local distribution centers sometimes run out, and then mistakenly the consumer service (ie the call center where we order) reports that they are sold out. All is well here.
