After delivering several workshops using Lego Serious Play, I’ve been learning about the importance of breaks for participants’ “flow” management.

For now, I’ve learned that schedule breaks for each 90 min of work are required in order to:

    1. Ensure the right amount of energy of the participants

    2. Ensure the “Leaning In” effect during Creating Shared Models, Creating a Landscape, Making Connections, Building a System and Playing Emergence.

    3. Allow participants to reflect a little bit, out of the room, on the different ideas, insights and conversations.

I do understand that this should not be a rule, and part of the success is to understand and sense your audience every time.

In your experience, what are the lessons learned about breaks usage during Lego Serious Play Workshops?
