Anybody knows?

Hi Josué
That depends a bit on what exactly you are looking for:
The boxes can be bought from LEGO, check their website http://www.seriousplay.com
The training as a facilitator can be bought from a number of members of this community, including my-self
Finally, end-user clients (something I dont think you are) buys the workshops from member of this…[Read more]

I found a recent article in the Vancouver Sun paper on September 29, 2011, to be very disappointing. The article explains that a group of teachers form a secondary school attended an offsite retreat where they spent the day engaging in co-operative team building. But the majority of the activities included playing ping-pong, air hockey,

Thanks for sharing Robert. I would even go as far as to say not only is the why-circly relevant to our selling, it is also what we are asking into in the identity framing of our Real Time Strategy workshops

This video interview is strictly speaking not about play, but about games, learning and systems thinking. Nevertheless, I found it an interesting way to spend ca 7 min of my time. Katie Salen is from the Institute of Play

Hi Patricia and Per
As for shipping I did speak to Tormod about three weeks ago. Nothing new and nothing on the horizon either. My guess is that until further the only way is to have someone purchase it for you in either US or a EU country and then repackage and reship. That is what we have ended doing for Japan, where there is good LSP…[Read more]

-
hi Patricia, not certain, I think the guys in the “Spanish” sub-community would know better. I have not really done business in Latin-America
good luck
Per-
thanks Per. As you said, Robert sent me info on the LA business. By the way, any new ideas on how to get the products from here. Opportunities are mving faster than expected and it is becoming a serious problem, not play………. :))
see you, Patricia

Hi, sounds good with business. I haven’t heard from LEGO for a while, will ask again. Have you spoken with Lucio Margulis about this

hi Per,
it is indeed a great book (and I believe a book that also Marko has recommend on this site). Personally, I have also quoted in a couple of articles and blogs. I really like his notion about how it helps “prepare” us for ambiguity -

I am a big fan of play. And I recommend Stuart Brown’s book on the subject, appropriately titled, Play. Brown is reluctant to define play “because it is a thing of beauty best appreciated by experiencing it.” Nonetheless, he outlines the properties of play as having apparent purposelessness (done for its own sake; not for

Hi Marko, how are you doing? I don’t know if you remember that I was trained by Per last June in Brussels. Since I live in Argentina and LEGO does not send the products this far, I’m looking for new ways of getting the. I’ve tried with the Danish Embassy and the Danish Chamber of

hi David My preference is the starter kit, or, alternatively the exloration bag. The starter kit (and the imaginopedia inside it) really gives you a robust start to your workshop. Both should be back in stock, at least in Europe where I work from Sorry for the late reply, I hope you found a good

Per – are there still none of the old fiddle bags available?? We are running out of stock so I had best start keeping an eye on this. I thought they had stock for 3 years? Are they not making them any longer? I thought they were popular? Hope all well with you, Regards

hi Denise
There are, or should be, fiddle bags (exploration bags), at least in Europe. From what I know, the local distribution centers sometimes run out, and then mistakenly the consumer service (ie the call center where we order) reports that they are sold out. All is well here. The spring was great, lost of business (playfull business that is).…[Read more]

There are the Lego Serious Play kits which are very useful as quite colorful and with some special bricks, but currently it seems that Lego is out of Stock. I am generally using a home made brik set but I am always additionally adding stickers, pens and paper to customize the briks if needed.

I’m planning a full day team building workshop for our company.
What kits/bricks have you used? Specifically during the skills building phase through where you facilitate an understanding of metaphoric storytelling?
