I am a speech-language pathologist with a special interest in communication pathology, parent-child communication interaction and interactional analysis. I am heading a unit at a university that provides play-based and family-focused intervention to children 0-18 years. Lego Serious Play is a excellent tool to- address challenges in the system these children have to function in such as the family members and adults in the school, sport and healthcare system. It is a method that can be taught to students, facilitators and academic staff to enhance collaboration, creativity and solution-focuse thinking by improving communication.
