Hey Erwin, Massimo,
Would like to exchange thoughts on this matter. Some questions we should answer:
What do we want to achieve with this Meetup?
Who will put in the effort of organizing the meetup site?
Who will facilitate the meetups?
Where shall we host the meetups?
What shall we put in as topics? Some of the later questions strongly…[Read more]

Hi Marko
I took a kit to Holland, I bagged up the bits in zip lock bags of various sizes and stuffed the whole lot into a checked in bag.
The absence of a hard box made the packing really easy.
If you pour the big sets of bricks out onto flip chart paper in the workshop, it makes sliding the bits back into bags easy.
Incidentally, I bought…[Read more]

Hi Martin,
Sean from the London group here. Bjorn trained with me in London – he said he might be interested, so perhaps contact him? https://nl.linkedin.com/in/bjornbierhaalder
If you want to share ideas for meetups that would be great!
Good luck getting a group going – I’d suggest you just set up a MeetUp group and people will come… you…[Read more]

Hey all,
Would there be any other facilitators interested in working with me to set up an intro LSP meetup in the Netherlands? In London, they’re doing something similar and I like the idea: http://seriousplaypro.com/2015/04/09/what-happens-at-a-lego-serious-play-meetup/ I’m looking mostly to run sessions in/around Utrecht & Amsterdam, but we…[Read more]

Thanks very much Mark. I have seen the 1000 participant post, but not yours. 3 minutes, vision for a country – brilliant!
The conference I’m designing might begin by asking people to identify the challenges their industry faces. Capturing answers on gridcards (my version of post its…[Read more]

I’m curious about your experiences with LSP in large groups. I’m facilitating a group of about 320 participants and wondered if any one had experiences to share of workshops of this size?
I imagine a simple ‘thinking-with-your-hands’ intervention of about an hour.

Hi Luc
Just a quick comment from me. People don’t want LSP.
They also don’t want a meeting, workshop or awayday.
They want an outcome.
Focus discussion on understanding the outcome they desire, then once thats clear establish what tools, methods or processes are suitable for helping them get the outcome they desire.
I find people seem to value…[Read more]

Hello,
It is important to have an issue / key question around which you will built your questions.
Starting from questions around the actual situation of the team and then progressively having questions which let you go to the answer of the key question / issue of the workshop.Without a central theme, it is difficult. Or you have an…[Read more]

I’m not 100% certain it’s resolved, but I simply put this receipt into my tax deduction forms and tried it. I’ll know in a year from now whether it was accepted ;-)
I think it should be ok, it looks a lot like a Dutch invoice, has the right VAT % etc. Should be fine…
Thanks

Ah, 1 question sort of answered. I just received an invoice from Lego Denmark. The strange thing is that the invoice is in Dutch, with the Dutch VAT percentage (21%, DK apparently has 25%) and the bank that is listed is a Dutch bank.
Getting more and more confused :-)

Hey all,
After receiving my certification from Per, I am now every excited to get started on my first workshop. I ordered 10 starter kits and a box of exploration kits from the Lego online store. It has been shipped, so happy about that.
Question though: how does it work with VAT? There is no VAT mentioned on the invoice and I can’t even tell…[Read more]
