I have used Lego Serious Play with a community group who wanted to develop a strategic plan but had an “elephant in the room” to discuss first. The process worked beautifully and allowed people to share thoughts and ideas through their models that they might never have shared otherwise.
I have also used it with a for profit shipping business that had recently been amalgamated and even with finance at the table the result was an actionable plan that everyone contributed to.
I have also used the process with over 400 people at a conference on Creativity and Innovation. I was a bit scared at facilitating that number of people using Lego but their enthusiasm and engagement on the task made it a great exercise for all. I am so thrilled to be a Lego Master Facilitator and look forward to the next opportunity to facilitate with Lego!
