Meet Mollie, aged 7, a Key Stage 2 pupil from Surrey who has really struggled with literacy for a couple of years, resulting in a lack of all-round confidence and anxiety about going to school.
Ever After Film worked with LEGO to develop a brand film that would help concentrate on the positive impact their education range of products can have on development of children in schools. The key was to find a real story, narrated by a real student who had experienced real challenges. It was crucial to the authenticity of the piece. We were lucky enough to find Mollie, a 7 year old student now thriving having benefited from the LEGO products. We wanted to show happy, engaged children while hearing a fictional story narrated by the protagonist. While this is all happening we present the problems that Mollie had faced. The effect created is that we see a happy thriving child, while hearing about what they have overcome. This creates a powerful and poignant moment at the reveal at the end of the film.
