Better Meetings

Following yesterdays post about Bernie DeKoven I would also like to introduce our community members to his rich resource of different videos about play and games. Bernie has collected to his YouTube channel several interesting videos that open different facets of play. I have hereby included one of the older videos where research fellow at MIT Sloan School’s Center for Digital Business Michael Schrage, game designer Rob Fulop and Bernie DeKoven discuss collaboration for prototyping the Technography method for facilitating productive meetings. They explained the early facilitation processes through the use of channeled media as a shared space and how it helped them to reach to a better facilitated meetings. Bernie refers to the term of “coliberation” which he used to describe the way through which participants in a facilitated meeting help each other to free their thinking. I think that this provides a fascinating insight into the underlying early tools that we use innately in contemporary facilitation sessions.
